Let see I went to see Van Helsing Friday. Wait until at least a second run theater if you have to see it while it's out otherwise I say DVD at the least. I may say if you pay for cable get your money worth and wait for it to pop up on there.

I saw Kill Bill Vol 1 about a week ago. Not bad I think I will like it better once I see Vol II. But it was pretty damn good.

Sam Goody seems to have put all of their Wu-Tang Collection VHS on Clearence for .99 cent. Not the highest grade video but it's freakin' buck what do you want.

I'm also waiting on my deliveries from Amazon of the Abbott and Costello vol II, Bad Boys (Sean Penn) and my Universal Legecy Box (what a freakin' nighmare that has become don't ask).

Ray Harryhausen is going to be speaking near by to home here before a showing of Jason and The Argonauts. I don't think I can make it though.

Spin actually presented a good article for like the first time in 10 years. The article they wrote about Elliot Smith in the most recent issue is very well done. I'm not going to hop on the "he's a dead guy now I like them band wagon". I do own a couple of Heatmiser cd's somewhere that I picked up really cheap and maybe listened to once or twice but at the time they did not move me as much. Also I did not put two and two together that he is the guy that does the song in Good Will Hunting which I do like so I may have to make a homemade comp but out side of that I'm not going to claim some new alliance to the man. But the article is actually worth a read. Very well done.



By the way to anyone in the my area if you are familiar with the somewhat independent record store CD World you might not have heard they have been purchased by the media whore store FYE. The Paramus store (which I believe was the mothership) is going to be closing this weekend and is having a monster sale you may want to check it out. I won't be able to make it so if anyone sees some gifts they would like to buy me. :)
